A deck of cards and a coin are placed on the table. The question is asked “ Do you like Card Tricks or Coin Tricks better?” If they say card tricks pick up the deck and proceed to do the card portion of the trick as presented below. If they say coin trick, tell them that you love them as well and will save the best for last and pick up the deck to perform the card portion of the trick .
Effect: A card is selected and returned to the deck. The performer explains that some magicians or in this case spectators are gifted with the “Ultimate Midas Touch.” Everything they touch turns to gold!
The magician then demonstrates his skills are worth their weight in gold by spreading the cards face up to show one card is reversed in the deck. The spectator is told to turn the card over and make sure it is their card. Upon Touching the face down card and flipping it over, the spectator finds the card has completely changed to a gold face and it is their card! Surprise no 1!!
You then pick the coin up, and place it in the palm of their hand, tap it with the gold card and it changes into solid gold in their hand as well!! Truly they have the “Ultimate Magic Touch”!
